As a baby puppy Arttu showed great promise by going BIS and taking other placements (too
numerous to mention) at Match Shows, and he certainly never looked back! Arttu was shown
eight times in the Puppy Class and went three times BIS, twice Runner-up to BIS and once
2nd Runner-up to BIS and was thereby Top Crested Puppy 2002. In adult classes his merits
included a great number of CCs and CACIBs, countless BOB and BOS placements, and several group
placements including two group wins and a BIS4 at an international show. In 2002, in
addition to winning the puppy category, he was Top Hairless, Top Male and #2 Overall (shown
only four times in adult classes), and in 2003 and 2004 he was Top Crested. In 2005, Arttu
took a year off, but after that he made an appearance every now and then, consistently placing well. Sadly, Arttu was only shown once as a veteran (going Best Veteran in Breed) before his untimely death in September 2010. Arttu is greatly missed by us owners and breed enthusiasts alike.
