Vuokko's (Finnish for 'anemone') arrival was somewhat unexpected since Kielo was in need of company after Lempi passed away. Miss V has proved to be a real bundle of joy and I am constantly amused by her goofy antics! Slow to mature, Vuokko did not have an active show career as a youngster, but did take a specialty BPIS (Sweden) and a BP win (international show in Finland) on her two puppy class outings. In junior classes she racked up five junior champion titles from various countries and a Best Opposite Sex from a Lappie specialty in Sweden. Her first "adult" title came from Belarus just a couple of days after her second birthday. Sparingly shown in Finland, she was made up in August 2014, and she got her international title in Lithuania in January 2018. Vuokko had her first litter in February 2015 and was a textbook mother. Later attempts at getting more progeny from her were not as successful, however, she did manage to have a male puppy in February 2020. Vuokko was co-owned with her breeder Katja Hietanen - thank you for letting me have Her Royal Goofiness!
